These ceramic dogs are even better in person! The glaze is called Oil Spot and it is rich with black, red and metallic touches. Attention: if you bought a dog wall hanging before, please note that this is a different glaze so the colors won’t match. But I think they work well together.
The dogs are flat and have a small wire hook for hanging (you’ll just need a nail with a flat head for added precaution).
They measure about 8.5-9in long.
The dogs are meant to be leaping above a sacred fire. I created the installation after the Los Angeles fires. You can see a photo of the full mural. I might make more fires and list those on my website in the near future, so you can complete the set :)
